Located in Kitakyushu city, surrounded by Sone tidal flats, the Nuki mountain system, and the Inland Sea of Japan, Manufacture Enterprise Group Kokura No.1 Works of Mishima Kosan Co., Ltd. does operations including manufacturing and engineering of steel plate automatic casting molds, reduction roll surface treatment, various kinds of coating, electroforming, manufacturing of molding dies for fire-resistant materials, plastics, magnesium alloys, molding of plastics and magnesium alloys, and precision manufacturing of new materials such as CFRP. While doing such operations, all employees of the Kokura No.1 Works recognize the importance of preservation and improvement of the environment and work for a more harmonious coexistence of industrial activities and natural environment.

1. We have established and implemented an environment management system in which all employees can take part in throughout the operation from order acceptance and manufacturing to delivery.
2. We improve our system continuously through periodic internal audits and management reviews. We strive to make our employees understand the company's environmental policy and to maintain and improve an environment management system through training and publicity.
3. We comply with statutory regulations governing environmental and other related requirements whenever we implement our operation.
4. We try to understand the impact of our activities on the environment, set environmental goal and periodically review it with the following steps:
   1)We positively work on resource savings, efficient use of energies, waste reduction, and recycling.
   2) Minimize the environmental load of the manufacturing process to avoid environmental pollution.
   3) Improve product quality, performance, and service to help users to become more (or be continuously) environment-friendly.
   4) Promote beautification activities in the plant by keeping things neat & organized and cleaning the facility all the times.
